Green/Blue with Butterflies

For this mani, I did the entire nail in green, sponged the blue and stamped the butterflies.  I'm very happy with the results!

Rainbow with Stripes

This is a fun mani. I did a white base to help the colors be a little brighter.  I did the stripes first,  added 2 coats of glitter, and finished with the stripes and a top coat.  Horizontal stripes are hard for me to do. It was very messy LOL!  Next time I will try using tape around my nails.

Sponging

This is my first attempt at sponging.  I used a cheap make-up sponge from the dollar store.  I did at least 3-4 layers on each nail, sponging less surface area each time.  Easy way to perk up a chipping mani!

Stripes Using Tape

This look was inspired by several designs on Nailside. (Clicking the name should take you to her tutorial.)  I've had this manicure for a few days, so it's looking rough.  The blue/purple color is a new one from the scented line by Revlon.  The scent isn't too strong and I love the color.

Purple Plaid

Busy, busy, busy!  I did this one a few weeks ago, but haven't had time to post.  I LOVE how it turned out, but it was very time consuming.  I did the lavendar all over, then the purple stripes, the white thin stripes and finally the black thin stripes.

Shatter Over Cool Colors

Still loving the shatter!  I painted the purple and green on the sides first, then did the blue stripe down the middle.  I like it!

Shatter!

I FINALLY got the OPI Shatter polish!  So exciting!  It seems to work best when done quickly and with a thin layer.  I've seen nice results from painting at an angle, but I haven't tried it yet myself.  I'm LOVING this look!
